Microwave Popcorn is a piece about movies… and popcorn! After three movie themes (action, drama and comedy), there is a short dialogue among the players. Then, they play an aleatoric mimicking of popcorn popping in the microwave. Then, it's back to the movies, and a reprise of the themes.
