PROGRAM NOTE: Light as a Feather Polka (Leichtes Blut) is one of Strauss's many polkas and waltzes that he composed when evidently in a very good mod. This is the first of many arrangements made for Polkastra by Matt Van Brink, and it perhaps a little less light-as-a-feather for the addition of a contrabassoon. All music
