Matt Van Brink spends his time composing, performing, and teaching, all the while finding occasions to bump his head on things and to speak inappropriately at parties. Despite his accomplishments, including earning a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Boston University, and receiving many awards for his work, his biggest challenge remains holding a train schedule in his head for more than five minutes.
