Orientation, Late-night stroll, Two bars
A delay and long layover in London necessitated by free
ticket and offset by a delay out of New York landed us in Prague at 9p on 3
August. Van into town ... checked in at Pension Unitas (http://www.unitas.cz/)
and went out in search of dinner (late!). Ate at one of many Pilsner
Urquell Original Restaurants, finicky food choices (no meat things) and some
beer. Then a wander around the area, happening upon (though we were bound
to get there eventually) the Old Town Square (webcam).
At night, a large open area with clusters of young people on the ground, some
with guitars. Continued our stroll to another recommended cellar-like bar
(underground, brick) where there was more beer (helps with jet lag).
