SPARKLE EPOXIPLAST 2000 was written for pianist and composer Martin Kennedy, in a musical form that is part rondo, part spiraling carousel. The piece spins around the circle of fifths, through jazz harmonies, tangential excursions, virtuosic flourishes, and sinuous chorales.
